It was Donna's birthday today. She had only been informed that there would be a big surprise, and despite all of her begging, pleading, and guessing, Will had kept it entirely a secret. No hints, nothing. They got up together, and Will resisted sex ("We'll fuck later, I promise," he said). Brunch was the first thing lined up for the day, so they went and ate at a fancy, nearby restaurant. The food was really fabulous, and Will pat himself on the back for making such a good food choice. The men for the sex-buffet had been calling Will at various times during the day, leaving voicemails and asking some questions. He was sneaking out as much as possible, ensuring that he got back with them in a timely fashion. Donna was obviously suspicious, but since she was promised a birthday surprise, she let it all slide.
"Will, can you please just tell me what the surprise is?" she asked. The suspense was killing Donna.
"No way, I can't do that. Not until it's time," Will said. That was all he'd give away.
"Well then, when is it time?"
"I can't tell. You'll just have to wait. I know you'll love it." He smiled. She would love it.
