About the Author

Theresa M. Sull earned a doctorate in Educational Psychology, focusing on Human Development, at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. She earned a master's degree in Teaching Children with Special Needs, at Wheelock College in Boston, Mass. Theresa's bachelor's degree in Day Care Administration and another in English were granted by the State University of New York. Dr. Sull considers herself a bridge connecting research with classrooms and homes, where children are learning as they listen and play. Theresa Sull lives in historic Hillsborough, North Carolina. She watches wildlife in her backyard along the Eno River. She is delighted by the alphabet of birds, from Bluebirds to Woodpeckers. Larger animals also visit, from Deer to Woodchucks.
