Overview

This workbook is written to complement the book Serenity with thought-provoking questions that will lead to discussion and a deepened understanding of each of the twelve steps.

It is suggested that not more than one step be taken at any given meeting. The meeting, like any gathering, may start with worship, a prayer, and a brief talk around the day’s twelve-step concept. The facilitator may choose someone to read any three of the twelve steps beginning with step one.

The process is to ask someone to read the step for the day and the narrative. People may take a few minutes to write what the Holy Spirit brings to their individual remembrance. They may talk about the answers.

Because Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (Rom. 10:17), at some point as these steps are pursued, we will experience a deeper level of understanding of the experience of the Word working in us. This journey will be well worth the effort.
