About the Author

Wayne P. Olson, President of Oldevco, Inc., consults to parenteral and biotechnology manufacturers and has lectured on related topics in the United States, Europe, and Japan. His experience at Baxter and other companies includes all aspects of aseptic processing, including analytical, scaleup, process, and validation. His edited or co-edited Interpharm publications include Aseptic Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Sterile Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, and the forthcoming work, Automated Microbial Identification and Quantitation. Dr. Olson was educated at Cornell University and received his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
