Overview

Born out of real conversations between church planter Jake Taube and American students serving on short-term mission trips in underground Chinese churches, Send Me, I'll Go calls for a shift in mission theory and practice. Jake Taube boldly challenges the notion that short-term missions offer young disciple makers the chance to adequately proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ as commanded by the Great Commission and offers a feasible, realistic view of long-term missions.

Send Me, I'll Go contests fears, excuses and misconceptions associated with long-term missions and invites Western Christians to exchange a life of personal fulfillment for a life centered on sharing the message of salvation with the world's unreached.

About the Author

Jake and his family have served in the Chinese-speaking world since 2007. They work with Project China, a missionary team working to train Chinese pastors and plant unregistered churches throughout China. Since his expulsion from mainland China in 2014, Jake serves as a church planter in Taiwan. It is his greatest privilege to be not only a beneficiary but an agent of Christs reconciling work in places where His gospel was previously unknown. More of Jakes thoughts on missions can be found at gospelchina.com.
