Chance significantly expands her world of magic and Supernaturals (Shifters, Fae, witches, etc.) with Lainey's, Ty's, and Maggie's alternating narratives, and getting to know the funny, good-hearted, and superhero-obsessed Maggie is a particular delight. Chance has upped her game with this solid sequel. Lainey and Ty are white, and Maggie is black, and there are a variety of skin tones in the Supernatural community.
