Long before the electronic age and mobile phone apps the Randell School of Dancing was an unofficial dating site providing a safe, secure, drug and alcohol free environment in which young people could mix and mingle with like-minded individuals and members of the opposite sex. Its principals Peter and Valerie Randell were well known throughout the district for not only providing a unique, well supervised outlet for teenage energy but also a safe rite of passage from schoolchild to young adult for generations of young people.
