He holds a sixth-degree black belt (Master Rank) in Te-ashi-ryu Ju-jitsu, a third-degree black belt in Kodokan Judo, and numerous other black belts in Karate-jitsu, Aiki-jitsu, pressure point fighting, Japanese stick fighting, and the Samurai sword.
