Overview

Their meeting seemed to be by chance. A lone drink at the bar. A stranded motorist needing help.

Kyle Porter would never leave a woman stranded at night, and Lennox Barlowe is grateful for his kindness. A few days later she returns to his bar to thank him. Playful banter reveals both share a military background.

But their connection goes far deeper than that.

In the two amazing weeks that follow, they fall in love--even though Kyle is trying hard not to. Haunted with PTSD from the events that occurred when he was stationed overseas, he feels unworthy of her affections. Little does he know; Lennox has a secret of her own and it will change everything he thought he knew about his active wartime.

Can Kyle escape the ghosts of his past to be the man Lennox needs? Or will their chance at a future end after two blissful weeks?

About the Author

Alicia Justice writes romance, mostly romantic suspense/military romance. Her novels often stem from her experiences with friends and family who have been in the military, giving her a plethora of information to use. She also uses her own life experiences to create characters you want to root for, even when you’re not sure they’re going to make it out of their situation.

Currently, she has a rather large planned-out series called First to Fight and it revolves around a rather tight-knit family of Marines. The first three of them are already published, but there are at least over a dozen more in the works. She loves connecting with her readers and getting to know them. She’s been around the publishing industry for years, mainly through the blog she ran called Ali’s Bookshelf. Now she’s using that knowledge to write her own books.
