About the Author

My name is Robert G. lsrael, and I was born in New York City on the ninth of February 1937. Back in those days, things were modern, but we still had horse-drawn carriages like vegetable wagons, ice wagons, and naturally, a milk wagon. Of course later, the milk truck happened. Well, to get on with this story, at the age of five, and my brother at seven, we were thrust into show business. We both played instruments at an early age. I played the piano, guitar, and the violin, also sang and tap danced. My brother, who was two years older than me, played the piano, guitar, and violin also, but he was a lot more talented than me. He wrote his own music, composed and transposed.

CHAPTER 1

The weather was clear, and visibility Unlimited as Bob Learsi boat arrived at its destination. Placing his craft in neutral, Bob Learsi hoisted Iris pennant to the top of the mast displaying the dark blue background with the white stripe which meant diver below.

Dropping anchor, Learsi called to his dog Scruffy who was sleeping in the aft compartment.

'Scruffy, come on boy, we're here" it's time for you to get suited up. Now, listen to me, I'm going to lower you over the side.

You'll be perfectly safe, and you'll be able to breathe. Now, these lead lined Boots will help you in your descend. Just wait for me below, and we'll go exploring together. Okay Scruffy?

'ARF, ARF" scruffy answered with his tail wagging nervously.

'Okay scruffy, see you below" His master said patting the globe on his dogs head.

Then, picking his dog up gently, Learsi placed scruffy gently over the side.

As the blue waters engulfed the nervous dog, Scruffy felt weightless, he felt as if he were floating which he was, then, suddenly, Scruffy was surrounded by yellow fish with a red stripe.

'Say what are you suppose to be? Asked the big fish.

'I'm a dog" answered Scruffy politely.

'What's a dog? Answered the smallest fish. Before Scruffy could answer, Scruffy descended more into the dark blue waters.

Landing softly on the sandy bottom, Scruffy started to walk, float, when a voice stopped him. Turning slowly, Scruffy came face to face with an orange octopus. Not wanting to show fear, Scruffy asked a question. 'Excuse me, but I seem to be lost" Can you direct me to a quiet place where I can wait for my master? Scruffy asked firmly. 'What is a master, and what kind of a fish are you? Asked the orange octopus.

'I'm not a fish, I'm a dog, and I'm from the surface world. We are here to explore your world, and see all the wonders of your world. Answered Scruffy truthfully. The Orange octopus looked at Scruffy cautiously and changed color. Then in an instant, the octopus disappeared in a cloud of ink. Shrugging his shoulders, and blowing bubbles in a no care attitude,

Scruffy floated another few feet, when he confronted by what looked like toy horses. Surprised, and questions forming in his mind, a tiny squeaky voice, and a very high pitched voice asked a question.

'Hello" said the sea-horse. Are you in pain? Asked the sea-horse whinnying.

'No" answered Scruffy. Why do you ask?
