Trying to keep up the appearance that we are content in our singleness is exhausting. The mask that we attempt to wear each day is beginning to crack. Every day, we glue pieces back together as we hide our true feelings. The truth is, we are not okay. The struggle in the single ladies' waiting room is overwhelming, no matter what others might think. The screams played out in our lives whether silent, audible, or in our actions confirm it is real. The feelings of loneliness, discouragement, and rejection, have created more struggle in our lives than we care to endure. These feelings are not to be ignored or silenced for the sake of appearance or to satisfy the critics who are peeking into our lives but not our hearts.
