About the Author

Dawn Renee Darnell is a member of the Christian Indie Publishing Association (CIPA) and a member and Juror for The Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts (AIVA); she judges the Communicator, Davey, and w3 awards. She is also an artist and a photographer. Her work has been in exhibits in Art Basel, Expo Metro, and in galleries in Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Greece, Spain, and New York Times Square. Mrs. Darnell has won 24 international photography awards. She has been honored in Marquis Who’s Who, Marquis Top Professional, and in the Millennium Magazine.

Born in Dallas, Jim Darnell spent his childhood in West Africa as a missionary kid. Jim has pastored three churches and serves as a missionary to Ivory Coast. A teacher of 24 years in math, French, and Spanish. His university degrees are a Master of Divinity, a Master of Secondary Education, a Master of Educational Technology, and a BS in Mathematics. Jim currently teaches in Loving, NM, USA.

Together, they have won 39 book awards. The Darnells live in Carlsbad, NM, USA. They have two Shar-Pei dogs, Yoda Bear and Lollie Ana. Allie and Heidi are their cats.
