About the Author

Elizabeth Jurado is a children's and middle grade author, a mom to three sons, and a keeper of three gray cats. Her writing has produced stories resonating with characters oozing imagination, witty humor, and a strong sense of family. Her professional writing career began in 2019 with  Saygar the Magnificent.

Growing up in Texas, Elizabeth Jurado experienced a childhood rich with the Mexican culture, especially felt in the food, the language, and the Spanish tales often told in a US/Mexico border city. As a young child, Elizabeth would conjure up stories with her imagination, sharing them with anyone who would listen. Her love of storytelling developed into a dream of one day becoming an author.

Using her experiences as an educator and as a mom, she was inspired to write her one-of-a-kind, adventurous tale of a shy boy and a mischievous ant. Elizabeth continues to explore different writing genres and create a loyal group of fans who eagerly await her latest releases.
