About the Author

Nemir Kirdar is the founder, Executive Chairman and CEO of the global investment group Investcorp. Now a citizen of the UK, he was born into a prominent family in Iraq. They had to leave their native country in 1958 when a military coup ushered in an era of political and economic deterioration. Mr Kirdar graduated from the University of the Pacific in California with a degree in economics, and holds an MBA from Fordham University in New York. He has also completed Harvard Business School's Senior Management Programme.
Nemir Kirdar is the founder, Executive Chairman and CEO of the global investment group, Investcorp, which has operations in New York, London and the Arabian Gulf. Born in Iraq, he is now a British citizen and lives in London. He is also the author of Saving Iraq and In Pursuit of Fulfilment.
