John Chester spent the first twenty years of his career making documentary films. In addition to running their 214-acre regenerative farm, serving as farm manager with his wife, Molly Chester, John wrote and directed The Biggest Little Farm, an award-winning documentary about his and Molly’s move from city life to Apricot Lane Farms, and the Emmy Award–winning short films about the farm that have appeared on Oprah’s “Super Soul Sunday.” He and Molly live with their son, Beauden, on the farm, which is located outside of Santa Barbara, California.
Jennifer L. Meyer is an award-winning artist whose work has been featured multiple times in the Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art annual, Spectrum. Born into a fantasy-loving military family, she grew up a big fan of comics, reading, and drawing animals (especially bunnies). Jennifer's art has appeared in comic books, children's books, graphic novels, and other media. Her other books include the Calpurnia Tate, Girl Vet series, written by Jacqueline Kelly.
