This book was a wild ride. The author doesn't spoon feed you the story, she expects you to buckle up and get ready for the ride. The reimagining of the Egyptian gods was really fun. The world she creates is intricate and I can't wait to see where she takes this series.

The author caught my attention with such a true to real life familiar circumstance that both had me cackling like a hyena and crying like a banshee. The character development is just amazing. And the budding romance between the MC's that is built like a solid relationship is outstanding. There was no love at first sight but a real build of love and trust through trial and error.
I'll read this over and over again!

Saving Asteroth has a range of different genres that's what makes it so unique, along with the POC main characters. The author gave such amazing descriptions, I could imagine every scene in my head. The ability to do that and make readers feel the character's pain, even happiness--is very rare and the author managed to do that. The bonds that were developed were so special and it highlights that it's okay to have someone by your side even if it's an enemy.
