Save the Bales
Colquat is a tiny island off the New England coast, almost too small to be noticed by anyone — save a very few discerning vacationers, and, somewhat earlier in Colquat's history, smugglers and pirates. For several generations now the islanders have relied on one sole income, the Colquat Inn. But the Inn burns to the ground just days before season opens. Where do they turn now? Should they sell to developers? Move off the island? Then something happens — maybe something wonderful — if one can call having several tons of high grade marijuana wash up on the beach!
