When he didn't push her away, she moved in closer and stood on the tips of her toes to place a warm kiss at the base of his throat and he reached up and entwined his fingers in her hair.
"I'm so sorry, Tomas." He looked into her eyes and she pleaded with him. "I will never do that again."
He suddenly yanked her from the door by her hair and roughly shoved her toward the stairs. "It's not going to be that easy, Scarlett."
