A Tale of Friendship and Love in Two Centuries
The Titanic had always fascinated Sarah. As a child, she filled hours reading stories about the ship. As an adult, she lands her dream job as curator of two Titanic museums. Ten years later, Titanic II's owners set its maiden voyage to coincide with the 110th anniversary of the original ship's voyage. Sarah hopes the Historical Association chooses her to give tours and lectures on board. Sarah's childhood fantasy is about to come true.
Tours of the ship during the day, Sarah plays dress-up during formal first-class dinners, wearing Edwardian-era gowns and exhibiting jewelry recovered from the ocean's depth. While dressing for her first dinner, Sarah discovers a Titanic bracelet she is about to showcase that can transport her onto the original Titanic.
Sarah walks among the passengers she studied and meets and bonds with an unfamiliar traveler named Grace, the bracelet's owner. Torn between spending her time on the original ship or spending time with Aaron, a man she just met, Sarah does her best to split her time between the two. But, unfortunately, the constant time-traveling takes a toll on her health with each leap.
On April 14, 1912, her final planned time travel, Sarah loses consciousness, putting herself in grave danger by remaining on board the Titanic during its disaster. She wakes with only an hour to spare. Just as Sarah readies to leap back to the twenty-first century, a crewman tosses Sarah onto Grace's hoisted life raft. Fearing the unknown, Sarah may never return home. All she can do is wait out the rescue onboard the SS Carpathia and attempt to transport when on solid ground at New York's Pier 54.
Will Sarah return, or will she have to live the rest of her life 110 years ago?
