Safe Drive Home: A True Story of Divine Mercy
What would we do, if out of the blue, an extraordinary light were to knock us to the ground--an earthquake, a shooting star, a vision of the Lord? My story springs from the ongoing resonance of a mystical encounter that occurred in the winter of 2012. It is the story of a radical and life-changing grace. It is the story of my encounter with The Divine Mercy of God. It is a true story and it processes, still. It moves on. It lives. And I have been asked to share it.

About the Author

The words printed here are static, lifeless dust particles attempting to document, authenticate, give evidence and testimony to God’s light and divine grace, His great love and mercy. The printed words of any story require an end point, a full stop, a bold splash of punctuation, an authoritative and powerful period. But there is no full stop end point to my story. My story of God’s mercy processes, moves forward, lives.

Linda Condon is the author of a novel, Working Heaven. She is also author of three books of songs: Angelus Bells: Song Poems, and from her Appletowne Playground Collection of Songs, Grandma’s Songs, and Poppy’s Songs. She lives in Litchfield, Connecticut, and is a graduate of St. Joseph University in West Hartford and past recipient of the Peter Brazeau Award for Writing. All books are available from Barnes and Noble Press.
