About the Author

Sharna C. McKenzie is a native of Kingston, Jamaica. She has an Associate Degree in Writing and Literature from the Borough of Manhattan Community College, an Associate Degree in Theology of Art from Canon University, as well as certificates in Evangelism, General Bible (I & II), Christian Psychology, and Chaplaincy, and a Bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Political Science from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She's a Teach for America corps member and a middle school teacher in New York City. Sharna is currently working on her Master's degree in Education at Relay Graduate School of Education and her Juris Doctorate at Thomas Jefferson School of Law. At the age of sixteen, she began preaching and spreading the gospel.
