About the Author

Sonica Ellis was born in Kingston, Jamaica but grew up in rural Manchester Parish, after which she immigrated to the United States, where she has lived since 2012. Sonica found inspiration and motivation reading the stories of C. Everard Palmer and would like to share with others the many characters of her childhood and overall experience of growing up in rural Jamaica.
