About the Author

Roxanne Michelle Wiltshire knew from the age of 6 that there was something wrong. She was born William Rex Wiltshire, a biological man, and went through the surgeries and the backlash from people she thought were friends. She hid all her problems by suppressing and lying about who she was and lived as a man for 60 years before fully transitioning to the woman she knew she should have been born as. This is her story, and she takes you into how she sees the transgender community and the LGBT organization. How she was treated, and the things she sees wrong with the transgender community.
As a man, she went to Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. She received her Master’s in Exercise Physiology, owned a gym, and has been a competitive bodybuilder, winning regional competitions. She then learned to tattoo and opened three tattoo shops. In all this time hiding, the woman was begging to come out because of fear and a turbulent childhood.
She has been on television for fitness and her tattooing endeavors. She got married four times, suppressing who she was and hiding and lying until the lies finally caught up to her.
This is the story of her struggle to come to grips with who she really should have been born as she knew she should have been born as. This is a story of hitting rock bottom, pulling yourself out, and having the strength and determination to finally face your fears and go through sex reassignment surgery to become a woman.
