Overview

Ciara's life has returned to normal for the most part. There's been no dark messages in her locker or masked psychopaths lurking in the shadows. She's months from graduating high school – the end is in sight - when Denver blows through her back door like a whirlwind, stirring up old hurts and confusing emotions. About the Author

I am a blessed and happy wife, proud mom and aunt, and fortunate nurse to some very special people. I love reading and coffee shops. I love to travel and see new places. I love being near any big body of water and the sound of waves touching the shore. I’ve been around some, but I’ve lived in Kansas most of my life. I grew up listening to missionary stories from foreign lands, and it gave me appreciation for imagery and culture.

I grew up in a ghost town with my two siblings, which is where my imagination began. My older sister was the queen of “what if” and I attribute most of my musings to enduring her overactive imagination. I live in the Flint Hills of Kansas in a close-knit community where your neighbors are your friends, and everyone is your neighbor. The best thing about reading is it takes you to different places, shows you different perspectives, and broadens your mind.
