Ross Winn
Ross Winn was an anarchist in Tennessee. He was known for his devotion and boldness, and his newspaper articles where he criticized everyone from local preachers to the standing U.S. president.

This booklet is a compilation of several of his articles, as well as his obituary by Emma Goldman. These articles show a pathway connecting Winn's political, philosophical, and moral thought, all of which criticize the preexisting institutions and dogmas of his time. Critic of the socialist party, American government, and capitalism, Winn deduces that no change in ruler is possibly liberating, and instead we must come to a full destruction of hierarchy - not merely physically, but also mentally.

Texts in this booklet include, Let Us Unite, A Vision of Anarchy, Government by the Majority, The Man In The Tower, How Will A Free Society Come, and How Will It Operate: A Debate, Plutocracy Triumphant, Hath Man Eternal Life, The Fallibility of the Church, Man Is Not A Free Moral Agent, Letter to The Editor 1 & 2, The Breakdown of the State, from The Advancee, and Ross Winn's Obituary.

Winn's specific type of anarchy is never clear. It could, possibly, be placed somewhere in individualist thought. However, many of his earlier articles depict his pro-union beliefs, and his faith in "the General Strike." It's difficult to successfully refer to him as post left, although he may have many ideas lining up with our thought.

Maelstrom is a post-left publisher. The money earned from this book goes towards those who need it.
