Only a few verses tell of the stay of Paul in the city, but yet Luke very consciously lets his Act of the Apostles end there, in the centre of the ancient world. This biblical travel guide however does not only describe the Rome of the Apostles, those few places that are directly or indirectly linked to the stay and martyrdom of Peter and Paul.
