【內容簡介】
魯賓遜(Robinson Crusoe)從小渴望航海,一心想去海外見識一番,他的願望終于實現了。
他到了倫敦,從那裏購買了一些珠子、玩具等到非洲做生意,和當地土人交換金砂等貴重物品。後來,他到了巴西,他在那裏買下一個農場,做了農場主。爲了解决農場勞動力問題,他再次出海,到非洲販賣奴隸。這次航海時,船在途中遇到風暴觸礁,船上水手全部遇難,唯有魯賓遜幸存,隻身漂流到一個荒無人烟的孤島上,在那裏生活了28年……
本作品作者是丹尼爾•笛福(Daniel Defoe 1660~1731),英國作家,被譽爲英國和歐洲的“小說之父”。《魯賓遜漂流記》是其代表作,出版于1719年,表現了當時追求冒險,倡導個人奮鬥的社會風氣。

About the Author

Qiliang Feng has been an EFL (English as a Foreign Language) teacher in senior high schools since 1983. He is a keen advocator of reading in TEFL and is expert at rewriting graded/simplified ESL/EFL readers. He has published several series of English Reading Courses in China and is promoting an ESL/EFL reading project called Million-Word Reading Project (MWRP), in which ESL/EFL learners at elementary level are expected to read one million words within two or three years, and reach upper-intermediate level. For this project, he has rewritten a series of simplified readers containing about 40 books.
