About the Author

Wilhelm Müseler (1887–1952) was an equestrian and author. In the years leading up to World War I, he competed with success in dressage and showjumping and was a member of the German equestrian team. After WWI ended, Müseler left the army and became the director of the largest equestrian center in Berlin. He wrote the classic Reitlehre in 1933 and it was translated into English in 1937 and entitled Riding Logic. He also wrote many works on the history of art.
