Mohammed el-Nawawy is Charles A. Dana Professor of International Communication and Middle Eastern Studies, Department of Political Science and Sociology, Queens University of Charlotte, NC.

Mohamad Hamas Elmasry is Associate Professor and Chair in the Media and Cultural Studies and Journalism programs at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies. He is also a faculty member in the Department of Communications at the University of North Alabama.
