Overview

How narcissistic must a man be to think that he is the victim when his tortured captive escapes? But that is the upside down world Sgt. Brandon Stiles enters when he returns home from war.
How dare he disrupt the megalomaniacal dreams of his captor, Colonel Hassan Rashid.

One attempt to silence Sgt. Stiles has already failed and now, on American soil, other attempts are made. Frustrated by incompetence, angered by the deception of a friend, and enraged by the inconvenience Sergeant Stiles has caused him by living, Colonel Rashid presses his attack to kill Sgt. Stiles and restore the Rashid family's honor.

As time passes and the innocent die, targeting expands to include anyone important to the American soldier. The bloody path cuts across Texas and continues in Jordan as a manhunt conducted by the FBI and Interpol intensifies.

International flights, forgeries, and bribes take the battle back to the Middle East and home again. The action is frenetic, fast paced and violent. Sergeant Stiles is finally at home, deeply in love, but unable to live his life and pursue his love. Forced back into the fight to protect his life and those he treasures, Brandon Stiles throws down the gauntlet and seeks retribution.
