About the Author

Richard Byhre was raised on the waterfront on Washington's Puget Sound and soon became a sailor. In my youth I campaigned on several racing yachts and in my later youth I have turned to sailing the oceans of the world with my bride Bonnie Lee. Five years, almost to the date of this story, we revisited our friends in Tonga while completing a circumnavigation.
