About the Author

I'm Michael Fischer. I have been a respiratory therapist since 1996. Along with my duties to my patients, I also provided education to medical professionals in the area of mechanical ventilation management.

Many years ago I was encouraged to put what I taught into writing. It only took a year of prodding before I wrote my first book. Since then, I have written three books related to my profession.

During COVID, I decided to follow a dream of mine, and I started to write fiction books. Apparently, there is a cardinal rule that says as an author, you should focus on one genre. True to form, I broke this cardinal rule. I wrote both humorous and psychological thrillers. Psychological thrillers are my passion, but I'm known for my humor. Hence, two genres.

I chose to go the self-publishing route. It hasn't been easy, but it has been rewarding. I hope you enjoy my work. Whether you do or don't, please send me an email and tell me your thoughts. Feedback is always welcome.
