About the Author

JERI KROLL is Professor in the Department of English, Creative Writing and Australian Studies at Flinders University, Australia. She was formerly president of the Australian Association of Writing Programs and is on the boards of New Writing, TEXT and Write4Children. She is the co-editor (with Graeme Harper) of Creative Writing Studies: Practice, Research and Pedagogy.

GRAEME HARPER is Director of The Honors College and Professor of English at Oakland University, Michigan, USA. He was Chair of Higher Education at the National Association of Writers in Education and is Editor of New Writing: The International Journal for the Practice and Theory of Creative Writing. He is also series editor of Palgrave Macmillan's Approaches to Writing series and has edited Teaching Creative Writing and Creative Writing Studies. He holds doctorates in Creative Writing from the University of Technology, Sydney and from the University of East Anglia, UK.
Jeri Kroll is Emeritus Professor of English and Creative Writing at Flinders University, South Australia.
Graeme Harper is Professor of Creative Writing and Dean of The Honors College at Oakland University, Michigan, USA. He is Editor of the Approaches to Writing Series at Bloomsbury, Editor of the New Writing journal and is Chair of the Creative Writing Studies Organization (CWSO) in the USA. He was also inaugural Chair of HE at the UK's National Association of Writers in Education (NAWE) and is an award-winning fiction writer, Professor and Honorary Professor.
