About the Author

USA Today Best selling author Lorana Hoopes is the author of both Christian romances and Children's early readers. She is originally from Texas but now lives in the PNW with her husband and three kids. Many of her books are set in Texas, close to her roots, and her Wishing Stone books are based on her three children.

Her Wishing Stone books have been picked up by several schools and used as a summer reading book. They employ a glossary of challenging words and a resource list at the end so children can do additional research. She will be adding a Christian line to the Wishing Stone series soon.

She has several contemporary romance series spanning women's fiction, small towns, football players, and billionaires. She also has a speculative fiction series and a romantic suspense series.

Human trafficking is a very real danger and happening way to often today. Lorana Hoopes manages to bring this important subject in a way everyone can understand. Ellen is too trusting, despite her sister being a detective. This book combines danger, romance and even some humor into the perfect story.

Lorana Hoopes has an interesting new book in this series. She addresses the issue of Human Trafficking in the plot of this book, and the intrigue certainly adds to the plot. Al and Grant end up going to Panama to search for Al's sister Nicole. I would highly recommend reading this book.

Enjoyed Al and Grants Story! Al' s sister was missing after they discovered she had went on a mission trip that had gone wrong. I read this in a 24 hour period, every free moment I had, my nose in this book. I was fussing at the characters, gasping at what comes next and literally seating on the edge of my seat. If you like clean stories with intrigue, you can't go wrong with 'Rescue My Heart'. I highly recommend.
