Writing is in her blood, like her mother, Dawn Phelps – Outen is a woman of few words spoken but many words written. Dawn is the wife of Terry J. Outen and a mother of two daughters, India, and Paris. She is a Minister and an Encourager of the Word of God. Dawn was born in Lynchburg, Virginia where she was raised by her grandparents, parents, aunts, and uncles. (It takes a village to raise a child). Dawn attended Barber – Scotia College in Concord, NC and made the decision to stay in NC. She found the Lord at an early age but had to really seek within to find her true authentic self. Although going through many ups and downs, Dawn has never give up on her beliefs that God had a purpose for her life. Many are called but few are chosen.
