Overview

Popular Sixties book returns as an eBook! A humorous story about a boy who bought a goat instead of a dog! Gilbert meant to buy a dog at the animal shelter but fell in love with Reggie, the goat. On the way home he sends a bakery topsy-turvy, disrupts a department store and takes a ride in a taxi. Once home Gilbert finds Reggie is too large for the dog house and can't live in the family basement. For Gilbert it's a sad decision to find Reggie a new home. In the end, readers will find Reggie at his best being everyone's friend at the city zoo. Did you see and pet a goat the last time you went to the zoo? Cover illustration by Judy Bullard.
