About the Author

I am a photographer by nature, and I began writing my story as a way to survive. I am a survivor of several suicide attempts. I see no reason it should be a shame-filled admission. I feel that I survived, and fight daily for my life, for a reason. I have PTS, depression, anxiety, scars (inside and out), and since I don't know my reason yet I am hopeful it is to help others see they aren't alone, shake the stigma around it, and do what they need to do to STAY HERE! I believe in being very raw and open.
