About the Author

Joel (Joe) Cochran grew up on a farm in northern Indiana, served in the US Navy, then married and raised 3 children. Joe has written short stories most of his adult life. A few were published in issues of specialty periodicals. But it was only after Joe retired that he found the time to write his first novel, a work of fiction based on actual places, events, and the many men and women who served faithfully in Vietnam. Joe currently resides in Florida and enjoys hiking and golf in addition to his passion for writing.
