About the Author

Dr. John Latham is an organization architect with over 35 years of experience working in and with commercial, non-profit, and government organizations around the world. He has enjoyed a diverse professional life from his first adult job with the U.S. Air Force to Vice President of Corporate Quality and Business Excellence for a $1.3 billion in vitro diagnostics manufacturer with operations in 40 countries to an international consultant on leadership and design for sustainable excellence.
John is the founder of the Organization Design Studio™ a digital media, education, and design firm focused on helping leaders, entrepreneurs, and the consultants who help them, create the organizations they really want. His firm focuses on innovative ways to design organizations and systems that create value for multiple stakeholders including investors, customers, employees, suppliers and partners, society, and the natural environment.
John has designed a wide variety of organization systems and processes from leadership and strategic management systems to production systems to measurement and analysis systems. He has worked with a variety of organizations including several Baldrige Award recipients across several industries: commercial, non-profit, healthcare, education, and start-ups. Some of his clients have included Boeing, Kawasaki, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), The Ritz-Carlton, British Airways, Motorola, U. S. Department of Energy, Lockheed Martin, U. S. Defense Depot San Joaquin, U.S. Technology Resources, Poudre Valley Health System, Long Beach Unified School District, VA Cooperative Studies, Pro-Tec Coating Company, Monfort College of Business, and Virtjoule, Inc.
