The first story in a western trilogy with an historical slant, Rebellion in the Valley invites readers to step back in time, to the 1870s and the beautiful mountains of Colorado.

Welcome to the Red Bone Ranch, where you will be introduced to its owners, seventeen-year-old Hailee and her father, Bruce Johnson. Within the pages of the Valley trilogy, you will experience the joys and pitfalls of ranch life and even accompany the characters as they begin hunting on horseback in a deep canyon, searching for a mountain lion before it steals all their livestock and ruins the ranch.

You will also learn to adore Tobias Logan – and despise Howard J. Duffman, both hired help, but working toward two very different goals on the Red Bone.

About the Author

Although the majority of inspiration for my writing comes from the historical fiction genre, I do also write westerns with a slant to historical events, some children's work and I've written one YA story.

My published books include Summer Rain, Rich Fabric (contributing author), A Dolphin For One and Rebellion in the Valley; keep your eyes peeled for the last two stories in the Valley trilogy: Anticipation in the Valley and Renewal in the Valley, continue as a few of my wips. Please pardon the delay in publishing them; Anticipation has finally been written and is waiting on the editing process, while Renewal is scheduled for my 2023 NaNoWriMo project.

The Valley trilogy is a western based on historical facts and events occurring in the Wet Mountain Valley of Colorado in the 1870s.
