Raising Whosoevers to Be the Heart of Our Schools
This is a scriptural- and experienced-based book about how to put much more love, peace, and joy back into your daily family life, yes, even while raising your children. With all the chaos in everyday life of parents and children, we need answers! It is very possible to have more enjoyment more often if you follow God's plan for raising your children. It is simple and not at all difficult. It's straightforward. This is not a book that puts things lightly, and it is not politically correct. This book is strictly God's plan for raising strong, successful, and godly children. Most importantly, it teaches you and your child to see the enemy coming a mile away. He comes to kill, steal, and destroy, and your family and children are his number one concern! There is information in this book about how parents should interact with their children and school staff to have the most success and pleasant academic experience. Some of the topics discussed in the book are about what God says about being a parent, the devil's attacks on the family, discipline at home and how it carries to the schools, and how to be a good example for your children as well as the community without being arrogant or overbearing. God is love and always will be. God should never be portrayed as haughty. Do not follow how to raise your children, by watching your friends, even some of your church friends, or the people who claim to be Christians, if they are not following biblical standards. It is so simple. It is the devil causing confusion and chaos, not God. He is peace, love, and joy. This book will tell you how to have all of this in your family if you really want that for your children

About the Author

Teena Welborn, EdD, is a wife, mother, friend, and mentor. She raised three sons with her husband of over thirty-three years. She is also a Meemi to three grandchildren. Her life was altered in 2015 when she suffered a rare brain syndrome, but her resilience to life became ever more evident. Even though she will never step foot back in a school setting, her passion for the classroom and public education has not wavered. As she dealt with the syndrome by spending many hours daily in the Word, she felt God was giving her a message for parents. She has turned her passion for children into a desire to share with others how to raise Christlike children in this modern world. She strongly believes that times have changed, but God has not. He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. She feels Christlike children and parents can impact the schools greatly. She offers a unique perspective as she has raised three children, taught in the classrooms of third through eleventh grade, and had been an administrator in the public-school setting. While her children were growing up, she and her husband were active in youth and children’s ministry in their local church. She does not claim to be a perfect parent, and nor does she claim her children are perfect; however, her heart is to offer insight to parents that she wishes she had while raising her boys. She has spent countless hours reading the Bible, praying, and seeking God’s wisdom on how parents can influence their children to become the heart in this world and especially the heart in our schools. It is also very important to her that children are able to stand strong against the attacks of the enemy. Her prayer is to see strong family units that humbly seek God’s will in raising their children. Her life is a testimony of God meeting you where you are and showing himself faithful when you seek him with all of your body, mind, and soul. It is her goal to get this book into every young parent’s hands.
