M. Naja lives in Springfield, Massachusetts. She's been writing since the age of seven and has self-published ten books. Author's Words: "RAIN was a process in the making. Funny how it didn't take that long to write. Every book, whether fiction, fantasy, whatever... Has a piece of a writer's life, spirit, blood and soul. This book was very personal to me. Especially when coming forward with the truth in being a bi-sexual woman. The term itself, to me, isn't about sex. It's about love. Love has no gender or boundary. Found this out a little later in life. In doing so, I accepted who I was. Never thinking negatively about how I've loved in my life. I hope the individuals who read this book understand this story isn't about sexual preference, bashing one's sexual preference, etc. It's about a situation, a relationship, happening between two people which went horribly wrong due to sickness. Could that love have flourished without that issue? Maybe. Maybe not. But that love, to the main character, Martika, was epic. In spirit, love, and self. She honored it. Respected that love enough to pass her story on to another who needed desperately to hear it."

Though not of a "traditional" relationship, it was a story of love, hurt, pain; a story of family, laughter, and reality. As I sank into my bed with my ear buds playing soothing melodies, as I turned the pages of Rain by M. Naja, I slipped into another realm from the beginning to the end.
