Purpose: The purpose is to provide a complete review of radiology's curriculum, summarized in sections and tests for additional review. All objectives are met in its over 500 pages.
Audience: The intended audience is radiography students. The book reflects the latest ARRT exam criteria, which is exactly what students need.
Features: The book highlights what is most important for the ARRT board exam. Some important features include images for anatomy and positioning, math problems with explanations in image production, and summaries at the end of each chapter. There are chapter review questions, with detailed answers following. There also is a 200-question practice test at the end of the book.
Assessment: This is an excellent resource for soon-to-be registered radiography technologists. This updated edition includes current information most pertinent to the field.
