Overview

During the time he was completing his degree, Thomas Ferguson had the opportunity to write a lot of short stories. While not all of them were amazing, all of them were important to his future. "On Wings of Destruction" is a short story about a powerful wizard in the aftermath of a dragon attack. She must try to reclaim her own home from the rubble, while dealing with the political climate of the nearby city. In "The Void", two seemingly everyday people become trapped in a broken down elevator. Tensions rise as the situation grows increasingly dire, and the two must stay calm together to overcome their differences. "A Painting Worth 1000 Lives" tells the tale of two art thieves making their escape, after the incompetence of one allowing a captured guard to sound the alarm. Finally, "Shattered" is a story of two coworkers on a business trip. The romantic tension between them is apparent, and they must try to remain professional in the face of their feelings.

Thomas Ferguson is a screenwriter who focuses on fantasy and comedy. He is pursuing a BFA in Creative Writing from Full Sail University. His web series, Crying is a Free Action, is currently in production with a planned airing date in late 2022. He was a journalist for his local paper, The Ramona Home Journal, and follows in his family's footsteps in the entertainment industry.
