Tommie is an Elder, teacher, and song leader in the church of Christ. He has also been a guest speaker at various schools and organizations, including Freed-Hardeman University. As a professional, he is an Emmy Award winning Graphic Designer and has been employed as an animator and designer of motion graphics for the world's largest sports broadcasting company for over 26 years. He received a Masters of Motion Media from Savannah College of Art and Design, and also teaches graphic design online as an adjunct professor.
