She is a big fan of British Culture, including mod fashion, Britpop, and slang. If she didn't think of California, where she was born and raised, as the coolest place in the world, she'd probably be living in London. Chynna's artistic influences include Evan Dorkin, Dan Clowes and Rumiko Takahashi. She has been brainstorming book ideas since she was a teenager in high school. Some of Chynna's creations include the popular Blue Monday and Scooter Girl comic series.
