About the Author

Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. I enjoy working in watercolor and writing poetry. I attended art school at Central Technical School. In my twenties, I moved to Saskatchewan. My father could do anything he set his mind to, a great gardener and Folk Art carver. My mother made the best homemade donuts and could knit with her eyes closed, and she was an expressive rhymer. For generations our families moved from country to city hence the title of Gypsy has been bestowed on us. We lived in Saskatchewan for twenty-one years then in 1999 we moved to Nova Scotia to care or my mother and uncle where my parents were originally from. We moved back to Saskatchewan in 2013. Care Giver for over twenty years, (CCA). Married thirty-three years to my best friend, who just happens to be a chef. Family, children, and grandchildren are spread across Canada and as far as New Zealand. When a painting will not express my thoughts, the words flow onto the page in the form of poetry.
