Released in 2013, Punk Essentials is a pretty solid overview of the music of the U.K. Subs. While not as thickly packed as 1991's Singles 1978-1982 or 1996's The Punk Singles Collection, the compilation does a good job of doing as the title suggests and breaking it down to the bare essentials. Along with the British punk group's biggest hit, 1978's "C.I.D.," the collection includes five U.K. Top 30 hits by the band from 1979-1981 ("Stranglehold," "Tomorrow's Girls," "Teenage," "Warhead," and "Party in Paris"). ~ Jason Lymangrover
