I enjoyed reading as it kept me engaged and interested throughout. The sheer number of characters analyzed was enough to get me hooked, and S. L. Yarbrough's meaningful commentary and analysis of the situations made it even more difficult to put down. It's hard to put into words, but it's as if the author was sitting beside me and explaining what led to this outcome and how it could've been prevented.

This book is well written and researched. Could be used in a number of contexts, i.e. classroom, forensic psychology, criminology, and the inquisitive reader.

Worth Reading. An engaging psychological analysis of villains and survivors in the famous horror movies. Easy to understand, engaging style of writing characters the first one hundred pages of the book. Though the book is explicitly non-fiction, the chosen topic and new angle of approach may interest all kinds of readers. The use of specific terminology doesn't slow down the reading process.
