Jay B, an aspiring Florida-based songwriter and Torrey, his music producer roommate embark on a desperate road trip to shop their song ideas to established and up-and-coming recording artists. After years of failed attempts to place any of their music in Miami, the duo decide to change their name, their look and their entire approach as they head out West for California with stops along the way in Orlando, Alabama, Mississippi, New Orleans, Houston, Arizona and LA, where a chance meeting with a superstar recording artist lands them a hit song to jumpstart their careers.
